Cilegon (11/26-27) – As part of the company’s ongoing commitment to employee well-being and productivity, PT Krakatau Posco Energy (KPE) conducted its third on-site annual Medical Check-Up (MCU) at the 1st floor of the Administration Building. This initiative aligns with Permenaker No. 02 Tahun 1980, Pasal 3 Ayat 2, which highlights the importance of regular health examinations to ensure employees remain physically fit while carrying out their duties.

In collaboration with RS Krakatau Medika (RSKM), this year’s MCU was carried out over two days, from November 26 to 27, involving 75 employees. The medical tests included fasting blood tests, Body Mass Index (BMI) measurement, electrocardiograms (ECG), audiometry, chest X-rays, and treadmill tests for employees aged over 40. Additional services provided included Pap smears for married female employees, as well as spirometry (lung function tests), eye examinations, and general physical check-ups.

To ensure the process ran smoothly and conveniently, RSKM brought medical equipment directly to the KPE site, including a X-ray unit car, EKG machines, and audiometers.

Through this program, KPE hopes to raise greater awareness among employees about their health conditions and encourage early detection of potential health risks, enabling them to perform their roles optimally in supporting the company’s long-term operational sustainability.
