Cilegon (13/04) - The month of Ramadan is a holy month for Muslims all over the world and in this month we are given the opportunity to cleanse the wealth we have by doing zakat fitrah. PT. KRAKATAU POSCO ENERGY together with companies in Krakatau Steel Group spread kindness in the month of Ramadan by distributing rice and fund to people in need. The event was attended by the Mayor of Cilegon, President Director of PT Kratau Steel & Group, Chairman of Baznas (National Amil Zakat Foundation) Cilegon, Chairman of Baitul Maal, and representatives of KS Group companies and KS Joint Venture companies.

The distribution of zakat fitrah was held out on April 13 and KPE was given the opportunity to distribute 220 packages of rice and fund in Kubangsari Village. This distribution is helped by the Baitul Maal Hidayatullah Mosque, so that the goodwill of all KPE employees can be distributed to the right people. The distribution of zakat fitrah by KPE in Kubangsari Village was also reported by the Banten News District News. We hope the distribution of zakat fitrah can give bless to people in need.
