Cilegon (23/08) – Carrying the theme “Inspiring Transformation,” PT Krakatau Posco Energy celebrated its 13th Anniversary in a festive event held on August 23, 2024. Although KPE’s official anniversary falls on August 11, the main celebration was rescheduled due to the Major Overhaul of Power Plant Unit 2, a crucial activity to ensure operational stability and then the celebration was held on August 23rd.

The anniversary theme reflects KPE’s strong commitment to driving transformation and sustainable growth. As a subsidiary of POSCO International and Krakatau Chandra Energi, KPE holds significant potential to expand in the energy sector. The transformation involves system improvements and talent development, driven by strong collaboration between management and employees.

The celebration began with a musical performance by KPE’s internal talents, followed by a symbolic cake-cutting ceremony led by the Board of Directors: Mr. Lee Younglak, Mr. Lee Jihoon, and Mr. M. Rizky Habibie. The event also recognized 10-Year Loyalty Award recipients—employees who have dedicated a decade of service to the company.

To enliven the celebration, KPE held a Creative Lyric Video Competition, an interactive Kahoot quiz about company knowledge, and several team-building games such as Ping Pong Relay, Gallon Hole, and Balloon Soccer. These activities aimed to strengthen teamwork, foster camaraderie, and engage all employees, including management.

The event concluded with an exciting door prize session using a digital roulette machine. In his closing remarks, Mr. Lee Younglak expressed his gratitude for the dedication shown by employees over the past 13 years and encouraged everyone to continue building unity and resilience as the company embraces future transformations.
