Cilegon (30/11) – PT Krakatau Posco Energy conducted an Emergency Drill Response as part of its strategic effort to enhance employee preparedness in dealing with emergency situations, particularly natural disasters. This exercise aimed to minimize risks, reduce the potential for serious injuries, and protect company assets and facilities.
Held on December 30, 2024, the drill involved all non-shift and outsourcing employees. The main objectives were to assess evacuation speed, communication effectiveness, emergency response team performance, as well as first aid and post-disaster facility inspection. The entire simulation was led and coordinated by KPE’s Emergency Response Team.
The drill began with a simulated earthquake scenario, where all employees were instructed to follow the drop, cover, and hold procedure, followed by the activation of the emergency alarm. Employees were then evacuated in an orderly manner through designated routes to the assembly point, with the entire process conducted in accordance with standard procedures. Team communication was smooth, and the emergency response team demonstrated quick and coordinated action.

This Emergency Drill Response is part of KPE’s regular agenda to ensure all personnel are well-prepared for emergency conditions. Through continuous training, the company aims to prevent casualties and minimize damage should a real disaster occur.
